Nazar Makadsi
Nazar Makadsi is a graduate student of public health, specializing in Applied Epidemiology at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). After earning his bachelor’s degree in public health in 2022, he started working in the non-profit sector, providing geriatric services.

Nazar has helped older adults reduce their likelihood of falling by facilitating evidence-based fall prevention programs and rendering home modifications to increase their independence at home.

Nazar has always been interested in working with at-risk populations. He is ecstatic about joining SHARE to further learn about and research the adverse health outcomes of middle and high school students who have incarcerated parents. In addition, Nazar looks forward to participating in recruitment and developing his analytical skills to determine any significant interactions.

During his leisure time, Nazar loves to be physically active. While he plays competitive tennis, he also enjoys hiking, biking, and going to the gym with friends
