Stephanie Collins

Stephanie is a second-year Master of Public Health (MPH) graduate student at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), specializing in applied epidemiology, with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. With two decades of experience in the dental field, Stephanie has cultivated a passion for educating individuals on proper hygiene and has enjoyed the rewarding experience of teaching students. Motivated by a desire to make a broader impact on community health, Stephanie transitioned to public health to address health issues from a population-level perspective. This pursuit led Stephanie to the SHARE internship, where she looks forward to expanding her education and research capabilities. Stephanie aims to enhance community health and wellness with this internship through effective education and outreach, outside of academic and professional endeavors.

Stephanie enjoys a variety of activities that contribute to personal resilience and well-being. These include drawing and painting, practicing yoga and meditation, and exploring the great outdoors through hiking and camping with her dog, Harley. Additionally, Stephanie cherishes time spent with family and friends, which provides a strong support network and balance in life.
