Serbin Cruzada
​
Serbin Cruzada is currently a Master of Public Health graduate student concentrating in Applied Epidemiology at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Alongside his academic work, he serves as a public health professional focused on health promotion. In this role, he co-leads a peer education program, facilitates workshops on various health topics, and disseminates important health information to college students.
Before joining SHARE, Serbin was previously a research fellow at the NASA-sponsored Autonomy Research Center for STEAHM (ARCS), where he investigated the adoption of diabetic monitoring technologies within the Latinx community. Inspired by ARCS's key principle of convergence research, he aims to apply his experience to tackle multifaceted research challenges with passionate, like-minded individuals.
Serbin’s professional goal of becoming a data analyst directly aligns with SHARE’s mission of improving the health behaviors and experiences of students. He demonstrates his expressed interest in the entirety of the data analysis process, from data collection to data visualization, to generate meaningful insights into various populations.
During his free time, Serbin enjoys practicing different instruments, rock climbing, and cooking.
