Pamela Troy

Pamela Troy is a graduate student focusing on Applied Epidemiology at CSUN. Her academic background has always encompassed Public Health, as she earned her bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Health Science. Her passions include healthcare accessibility, health equity, and supporting at-risk populations, particularly youth affected by socioeconomic factors.

Having grown up in Los Angeles County, California, her interests are derived from her personal challenges and observations across underserved communities, making it her life mission to support communities to improve their overall quality of life and well-being. Pamela is enthusiastic in joining the SHARE project, which will deepen her understanding and skills, particularly in statistical analysis and research, in order to support her future endeavors in advancing health equity.

Outside of Public Health, Pamela loves to travel, hike, sing, and completely immerse herself in new experiences/cultures. She is eager to go skydiving next year upon her completion of her master’s program.
