Mikaela M. Rojas

Mikaela is a third-year MPH graduate student in the Applied Epidemiology track at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She is a biostatistics teaching assistant at CSUN and a 2024-2025 Sally Casanova Pre-Doctoral Scholar.

She has had the privilege of working in public health, specifically assisting the community with ACEs (adverse childhood experiences), and promoting the importance of mental health, resilience, and physical well-being. Mikaela has experience in health education and program management. She looks forward to improving the lives of others; being part of the SHARE project has allowed her to strengthen her research skills and contribute to the well-being of adolescents and others.

In her free time, Mikaela loves to travel, horseback ride, try new foods with friends, and attend concerts!
