Maian Maouas
Maian Maouas is an undergraduate public health student with a strong interest in epidemiology and infectious disease, with plans to pursue a master's in Applied Epidemiology at CSUN.
Throughout her time at CSUN, she has developed a growing passion for epidemiologic research and the use of data to address health concerns within various populations.
Her interest in public health is driven by a commitment to understanding infectious disease patterns and investigating the systemic and social factors that contribute to health disparities.
She is particularly passionate about using research to understand infectious disease disparities and inform interventions that reduce disease burden and promote health equity.
Inspired by the mentorship and guidance of CSUN faculty,
Maian has also become interested in possibly pursuing academia in the future, with her long-term goal being public health education and research. She is eager to join SHARE to enhance her experience in research while also
