Eric Shanazari
Eric Shanazari is a PhD student at USC with a concentration in health behavior research. He graduated from CSUN with an MPH degree in applied epidemiology. His current research interests include resiliency in youth and nicotine use prevention.
The SHARE project serves as a great opportunity for Eric to gain experience working with an amazing team of dedicated individuals. The hands-on experience as a member of a capable and welcoming research team was the perfect introduction to working in the public health field. The skills he’s gained from this study have allowed him to flourish on his journey to becoming an independent researcher, and he continues to learn with each semester of data collection.
He's also made several friends from SHARE during his time as a member of the project, so it’s been a fantastic experience for him all-round. To relax, Eric enjoys reading, playing games, and spending time with his family and friends.
