Angelina Lopez
Angelina Lopez is an undergraduate transfer student majoring in Public Health at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Her primary interests include examining how social determinants of health impact adolescents through data collection and analysis. She plans to pursue a career in epidemiology and intends to apply to graduate school in the near future.
Originally from Ventura County, Angelina’s interest in public health stems from both personal experiences and observations within her Hispanic community. Driven by helping and uplifting others, she has worked as a mentor for local high school students in her community. Additionally, she works through the Ventura County of Public Health, where she observes and supports physical and occupational therapy sessions involving adolescents with disabilities. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to addressing health disparities.
Through SHARE, Angelina hopes to gain valuable experience and exposure that will support her future career in public health. She is looking forward to learning and contributing to positive change, no matter how big or small.
In her free time, Angelina enjoys watching films, engaging in physical activities such as hiking, and creating art using various mediums, including oils and magazine collages. She also enjoys listening to music and journaling.
